My favorite comic book artists #4: Clay Mann
Clay Mann’s art seems reminiscent of the more “gritty” ‘90’s comics, though thankfully without Liefeld’s anatomy fails and without quite as many instances of crosshatching for shading (though it’s still there). I think Mann either likes drawing the male form, is trying to get female and gay readers interested in comics, or both, because every single comic of his that I own, at least one male character ends up shirtless somehow.
